Table top is made of laminated 18" thick plywood. It does not soak up water and liquids like MDF. Thus, it is less susceptible to damage. MDF is not as hard as plywood and can be damaged easily when roughly handled. It is not as stiff as plywood and can sag with if too much weight is applied to it.

Table leg is made of power-coated heavy duty metal leg. It is manufactured with industrial strength quality.
